Family vacation:
Recently Bono and wife Ali Hewson are holidaying on the French Riviera - where they have a home - with their four children Jordan, Memphis Eve, Elijah and John. The couple brought their two teenage daughters for a taste of Riviera social life at the upmarket beach Club 55.

The much-anticipated re-release of U2's first three studio albums is nearly upon us. The expected New Zealand release date of all three remastered albums is just one week away, being Monday 21st July.

U2//NZ has received a press release from Universal Music New Zealand, detailing exactly which formats will be released locally.

Their full press release reads as follows:

Following the re-mastered release of The Joshua Tree last year, Edge has overseen a similar re-mastering of Boy (1980), October (1981) and War (1983), all of which have been re-mastered from the original audio tapes. Released on July 21st each album will be released in physical and digital formats; as a standard single disc, a deluxe double version including a disc of b-sides, live tracks and rarities, and an LP version pressed on 180gm virgin vinyl. The packaging on all three titles has been restored and expanded, with new liner notes for each record, previously unseen photos and full lyrics.

Look at this bootleg - wow

I managed to pick up this Bootleg copy of U2 Live Vertigo Concert in New Zealand, which I went to. Awesome experience and have seen U2 3 times now.

Being able to go to a live concert then being able to find and download a live version of the concert blew me away. Actually there was two versions each with their own different quality recordings (or novice perhaps) but still great to have as a keep sake.

A big thanks to the people who recorded these versions and then worked hard to get them downloaded here for listening (within 3 or 4 days of the concert too).

I'm not sure if U2 record all their concerts then make them avaiable publically because I personally prefer the "live recodings". Can anyone answer this question?

Well, I pretty much assumed that you are a U2 fan. I wanted to add some links to some of my cool U2 sites that I have come across and saved as my favorites.

Some of the links may lead you to downloadable U2 content and / or music. Like all of you I only know what I read, and Im not totally sure whether U2 allow their content to be downloaded for free or not, however my feeling is that if you do download it, firstly you should not pass it on, and secondly you should ofcourse have already purchased the origonal content.
